SUMMARY:Parent and Child Nature Walk at Shaver's Creek Environmental Center
DESCRIPTION:Experiencing time in nature is transformative!\n\n
\nResearch s
hows that walking through the woods with your child strongly benefits both
child and parent development\, so join us for a free\, guided Parent and Ch

 \n
\nAfter connecting as a group with some light movement and meditation\,
we’ll explore the trails and take in the seasonal surroundings at Shaver
 ’s Creek.\n\n
\nThis event is geared toward parents and caregivers of all
ages and children up to five years old. We kindly ask caregivers to not br
ing more than two children so that we can maintain a quieter atmosphere and
enjoy the surroundings. Strollers are not recommended—please be prepared
to carry your child or encourage them to walk if they can.\n\n
\nPlease we
ar hiking boots and weather-appropriate clothing. Attendance is limited and
advance registration is required. We’ll meet at the amphitheater on the
Shaver’s Creek front lawn before we start our walk.
